This economical option features fasteners that penetrate a roof panel to attach it to a roof. This leaves the fasteners exposed.
To do so, your installer should take care to tear off the existing roof covering and add a high-temperature peel-and-stick underlayment to the entire roof, which reduces the risk of leaking.
Concealed Fastened
Concealed, or hidden, fastened panels are installed with fasteners that do not penetrate the exposed portion of the metal. The attachment mechanism is hidden from the elements and view, and so provides a sleek aesthetic and the ultimate in weather and water protection.
